This past week we continued the sermon series entitled "Closer." In this series we are looking at the attributes of God with the purpose of seeing how God wants His people to react to each other. The lesson this week focused on the love of God.
Love is a difficult term to define. Depending on your family background or the relationships you have been a part of, the word love really may not mean much at all. Its meaning could totally be lost because of the abuse you received repeatedly.
In this lesson I seek to answer four questions:
1) What is love?
2) How does God love us sacrificially?
3) How does God love us unconditionally?
4) How does God love us permanently?
